Lady GaGa Reveals Self-Written 'Born This Way' Lyrics in Full

Knowing that her Little Monsters have been itching to hear her new music, Lady GaGa generously posted lyrics of her first single "Born This Way" on Twitter in full. She wrote the song herself and contributed in the production table along with duo Fernando Garibay and DJ White Shadow.

"My mama told me when I was young, we are all born superstars/ She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on, in the glass of her boudoir/ 'There's nothin wrong with lovin who you are,' She said, 'cause he made you perfect, babe'/ 'So hold your head up girl and you'll go far, listen to me when I say'."

"Don't be a drag, just be a queen/ Whether you're broke or evergreen/ You're
black, white, beige, chola descent/ You're lebanese, you're orient/ Whether life's disabilities/ Left you outcast, bullied, or teased rejoice and love yourself today/ 'Cause baby you were born this way."

"No matter gay, straight, or bi, lesbian, transgendered life/ I'm on the right track baby, I was born to survive/ No matter black, white or beige chola or orient made/ I'm on the right track baby, I was born to be brave." The full lyrics can be found on her Twitlonger.

That day, GaGa also talked to Ellen DeGeneres confirming that she is going to showcase the new single live at the Grammy Awards on February 13. Of the album, also titled "Born This Way", she said, "I wish it was coming out in March! But you know, I really want to take the time to set it up properly, and do all the TV [shows] I need to do." She plans to release it in the U.S. on May 23.
