Lady Gaga’s song gets Bollywood twist!

New Delhi, April 11 – International pop star Lady Gaga’s hit single ‘Born This Way’ has got a desi twist! Bollywood composers Salim-Suleiman have added a sitar intro and dhol beats to her vocals for the special remix.
The latest version of the song has been produced by media company Desi Hits.
Gaga will also release an urban-desi version of the song for Britain’s South Asian market. Created and produced by Culture Shock, this version of ‘Born this way’ fuses bhangra with elements of dubstep.
‘Gaga has truly fallen in love with India, so we’re helping her pursue this audience to authentically connect with both the huge diaspora and South Asia itself. The debut of these remixed tracks is step one,’ Anjula Acharia-Bath CEO of Desi Hits, said in a press statement.
‘We collaborated with Indian music producers from across the globe to show our respect and appreciation for our desi fans and music community. We’re looking forward to more desi collaborations in the near future,’ Troy Carter, CEO-Atom Factory, Lady Gaga’s management company, said in a press statement.

Britney Spears Signs Nicki Minaj for Summer Tour

One of the hottest shows of the summer is in the making: Britney Spears and Nicki Minaj are reportedly going on the road together! TMZ reports that BritBrit has signed the "Moment for Life" singer for her upcoming tour, after Enrique Iglesias pulled out a few weeks ago. 
Nicki and her wild 'n crazy hair are currently on tour with Lil Wayne until the end of the month, then she'll have just a little bit of downtime before heading on the road with Brit in June. The first scheduled appearance is June 17 in Sacramento, Calif.

Britney just started performing again, with short sets in Las Vegas and San Francisco at the end of March, and her full-length summer shows sound like they'll be pretty spectacular -- especially with Nicki as the opener. Bring on the glitter and bodysuits!

Natalie Portman Has Given Up Veganism for Pregnancy

Sometimes stars have to ditch their green lifestyles for important events like filming movies or pregnancies, and strict vegan Natalie Portman has dropped her no-dairy diet for the latter. The actress, who became a vegetarian at the ripe age of eight, has started to indulge in gluttonous items like dairy and eggs! 

She told an Atlanta radio station:  “I actually went back to being vegetarian when I became pregnant, just because I felt like I wanted that stuff. I know there are people who do stay vegan, but I think you have to just be careful, watch your iron levels and your B12 levels and supplement those if there are things you might be low in your diet."

The strict vegan since 2009 says she is "listening to her body"... and it was her strong craving for cookies that motivated her to reincorporate dairy into her diet. 

“If you're not eating eggs, then you can't have cookies or cake from regular bakeries, which can become a problem when that's all you want to eat," she said.

So it's safe to say Natalie Portman actually is no longer a vegan for the sake of cookies. We don't blame her, those vegan treats taste like dog food.

Demi Lovato Has Revealed She Was in Rehab for an Eating Disorder

Demi Lovato very quietly entered and exited an undisclosed Chicago rehab and has since remained very mum about her stay in the center, only citing "personal and emotional" reasons. The 18-year-old Disney star has now opened up to Seventeenabout her battle with an eating disorder, which she calls a "life-long disease."

“I wish I could tell every young girl with an eating disorder, or who has harmed herself in any way, that she’s worthy of life and that her life has meaning. You can overcome and get through anything," she said. 

The newly healed actress feels stronger after leaving the center in January, but knows she will battle the disease for a lifetime and is ready to face the challenge. 

“Yes, there have been times when I definitely have been tempted to get rid of my dinner. But I will deal with it for the rest of my life because it’s a life-long disease. I don’t think there’s going to be a day when I don’t think about food or my body, but I’m living with it, and I wish I could tell young girls to find their safe place and stay with it," she said. 

Kudos to the star for publicly dealing with -- and helping provide valuable insight about -- such a private, isolated disorder that is often harbored inside. Demi encouraged any young people dealing with similar issues to avoid inflicting "harm on your own body because your body is so sacred" by seeking solace from family and friends rather than keeping it within.

Demi herself is working on her own happiness, which she is pursuing by dismissing others' insecurities, emotions or opinions. That's one hell of a pursuit of happiness if we've ever heard of one.

Carrie Underwood Doesn't Consider Herself a Celebrity

Carrie Underwood definitely wasn't a celebrity when she was discovered (and won) onAmerican Idol in 2005, but it's safe to say after 5 Grammys, 3 albums, and sold-out concerts around the world she's a full-fledged star. But, the singer doesn't see it that way!
The starlet, who recently starred in her first movie Soul Surfer, said she's just an average gal off the stage. "When I'm on stage, I feel like a performer, and I know people are looking at me and taking pictures and all that stuff, and they're singing along," she said (via People.com). "That part is wonderful, but I do live in Nashville. I live the most boring life away from what you see me on camera doing." 

She added: "I never go out to eat. I never do anything. I think that's why I consider myself not a celebrity. I'm a normal person who sings on stage."

What's the major difference between the Carrie on stage and the Carrie in her personal life? Her clothing. "[The majority] of the year ... I'm a lover to my doggies, I'm a maid, [and] I clean the house," the country cutie said. "Me as Carrie the person wanders around in sweatpants. But when I have to look like Carrie Underwood, I look like this."

With three sons named Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, Victoria Beckham is expected to choose a very unique name indeed for her unborn daughter, her fourth child with husband David.

According to UK tabloid Metro, Victoria has been tossing around a one-of-a-kind name for her future daughter: Santa. The name is supposedly inspired by the Los Angeles coastal suburb Santa Monica.

A source claims, "Posh thinks Santa Beckham has a lovely ring to it and wants something unique. David prefers something traditional, but will probably go along with what she chooses."

Hmm. It's hard to believe anyone with Posh's impeccable taste would risk naming her baby girl anything that might have her frequently mistaken for a pudgy bearded man. We're thinking she'll go for something with a bit more panache, like Dolce Hermés Birkin Beckham.

Vanessa Hudgens Calls Nude Photo Leakers 'Selfish'

Vanessa Hudgens would like people to stop living in the past. Namely, she'd like everyone to stop remembering her as that Disney starlet whose misuse of a cell phone camera caused some major embarrassment...over and over again.

In an interview with the LA Times, Hudgens explained that the most frustrating thing about her nude photo scandal is that it distracts from who she is now. The photos, taken several years ago, have been slowly released in batches since 2007.

"It's just silly because I'm a very present person, and that's the thing that has been so in the past," Vanessa said. "The fact that somebody keeps bringing up the past is just selfish. I mean, it sucks. I already released a statement the first time it happened. It's just unfortunate that it keeps reminding people about the past and not the present."

Hudgens has a lot to celebrate in the present, including her journey of self-discovery. "A lot of women get walked all over on by not standing up for themselves, and that's just not what I'm about. I'm figuring myself out now as a young adult more than I ever have. It's like my eyes are opening and I'm awakening to controlling my future."

The rumor mill (and a particular tabloid) spread word today that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez split up, but, thankfully, one of the hottest young couples in Hollywood is still very much together. Don't believe the Bieber love triangle news, writes Gossip Cop.
Apparently the National Enquirer ran a story about Selena "cooling" her Bieber Fever after discovering her man was sending texts to Jasmine Villegas, his friend and star of his "Baby" music video. According to the publication's story, the Bieb's two-timing caused the Disney actress to "dump" him. Not true, apparently.

The tabloid's "insider" reported: “Selena was heartbroken. She confronted Justin, and at first he denied it but then came clean. She told him their romance was over, but she was willing to stay friends.”

The supposedly bogus story also included that Selena "left the door open for reconciliation." 

Gossip Cop reports that the story is definitely untrue, and these two are together still -- although doing the long-distance thing right now. Justin is still touring in Europe and Selena is getting ready to go on her own tour in May.

SB: Why do so many beautiful women come from Russia?
Russia is a very big country populated with people of many origins, so you can find many different types of beauties—not only of the so-called Slavic type, but also Brazilian-looking, Asian-looking… And in my country, women spend a lot of time on beauty rituals and take very good care of themselves. Natural beauty is carefully cherished and is brought to perfection by make-up, clothes and the unique combination of little things that are called 'personal charm.' 
SB: What is your diet and fitness routine?
I never really diet. I think that a person can eat what she likes and do some exercises to be in shape—doesn't matter if it's going to be gym or swimming, walking in a park or pilates. It should be a pleasure as positive emotions always make you beautiful! I personally love going to [the] gym! I have a great trainer, and work out three to five times a week. When I travel, I try to work out at least three times a week. It’s very important for me. After it, I feel full of energy! 
SB: What are your skincare secrets?
I spend a lot of time in the sun due to my work, so I always protect my skin. I use a sunscreen with high SPF index, an after-sun lotion for my face and special sun-protecting homemade oils that I get on Seychelles or the Bahamas for my body. In the morning, I like to rub my face with an ice cube made of chamomile infusion or green tea. I love to moisturize my skin with a slice of fresh cucumber. And I love a Russian sauna—banya—and always use there a special scrub that I make myself—I mix honey and sea salt. I use only this scrub for my face and body.
SB: You recently landed your first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover…congrats! How does it feel?
It was the best day of my life! Nobody knew who would be on the cover as it was kept top secret till the last moment. When I was at [the] David Letterman show with nine other SI models, I had no idea that I will be on the cover! And when the curtain [fell] down and I saw the cover, I was so happy that I even cried…it was like living in a fairytale! I always loved working with SI, and of course I dreamt about being on the cover as all the SI models do. But when my dream came true, it was a very special moment for me.
SB: You've also done high-fashion shoots for magazines including Elle and Harper's Bazaar Spain. How do those experiences differ from swimsuit shoots, and which do you prefer?
I was lucky to work with great photographers for those shoots—Santiago Esteban and Rafa Gallar. When a photographer is great, the shooting feels like an adventure and a lot of fun. Mainly the difference between the shootings for swimsuit and fashion is in the location: For swimsuit, it’s often [at a] beach in some exotic place, but for fashion it can be anywhere. I like both!
SB: How would you describe your personal style?
I like to mix styles. For example, it can be a pair of simple jeans and [a] T-shirt with a Chanel bag. I like bags and shoes—they always add a personal touch to any clothes. And I love underwear. I think that a woman in beautiful underwear feels very confident and sexy even if she wears a business suit or jeans. I love Intimissimi lingerie because it feels like second skin, is very sexy and beautiful.
SB: Of all the cities you traveled to for work, which is the most stylish?
I love Italy, and Milan is definitely one of the most stylish cities in the world—Italian people dress beautifully and are very elegant. But my favorite city in the world is New York. You can find everything in New York. It’s very energetic and is always on the top of fashion and trends.
SB: What are your favorite places to shop?
As I live in New York, I usually go shopping in New York. My favorite stores are Scoop, Intermix, Jill Stuart, Blue and Cream. When I come to Milan, I always check [the] Intimissimi store to make sure that I have all the new collection, and I love to discover small shops in new towns.
SB: What is your definition of "sexy?"
My definition of sexy is very simple: You need to be yourself, natural, the way you are. It’s the most attractive thing in the world. People who love themselves the way they are are always very sexy and attractive.

Jessica Simpson might be a sudden fashion mogul, but she's also still pretty big in the music world. First Lady Michelle Obama has hand-selected Jessica to sing for the families of U.S. troops at a Denver event this Wednesday.

Jessica called it a "huge honor," which might be an understatement. The singer has belted her heart out for America's service members before -- just last year she performed for sailors on the USS Harry S. Truman in the Persian Gulf. 

Jill Biden and Michelle will be on a national two-day tour this week, hosting initiatives in North Carolina, Texas, Denver and Ohio that seek to "highlight the work of Americans who have answered the call to serve our military families." 

And apparently they'll be spending time with a Hollywood favorite to make for some great celebrity politics!

Taylor Swift Doesn't Feel 'Comfortable' Taking Her Clothes Off

Taylor Momsen is totally fine with showing up to performances without pants, but don't expect this Taylor to shed her clothes onstage or in real life. Ms. Swift says she doesn't "feel comfortable" taking her clothes off, and instead prefers her modest wardrobe.

"I like wearing pretty dresses and I like trying out new styles, but I don't feel comfortable taking my clothes off," she said (via Usmagazine). 

"I wouldn't wear tiny amounts of clothing in my real life, so I don't think it's necessary to wear that stuff in photo shoots," she added.

The country cutie also said people have stopped trying to get her to dress more provocatively -- she's not changing her mind!

And: She doesn't drink, and says it's because she "over-thinks and overanalyzes everything." "I worry I might come off in a way that I can't control," she said.  

Tori Spelling Is Pregnant with Third Baby!

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are expanding their family -- again! The couple is expecting their third baby, as announced on Twitter today.

The former 90210 star tweeted: "I know there's been a lot of speculation, so I wanted everyone to hear from me. it's official. Dean & I are PREGNANT!!!!"

The 37-year-old blonde actress and actor Dean, 44, already have son Liam, four, and two-year-old daughter Stella.

They have been married for almost five years and are currently starring in reality TV showsTORIbook Weddings, in which they give advice to couples who are about to walk down the aisle. Maybe now they'll have to do the same for expectant parents -- they will certainly have the experience after this! 

It's no real surprise that the actress is prego again. She previously said: "We have our perfect family - a little boy and now a girl, so we're blessed. But we love having babies so I will have more."

Michael Jackson's Children to Be Witnesses at Trial

Michael Jackson's young children and family members including mother Katherine and sister Janet Jackson are set to be called as witnesses at Dr. Conrad Murray's upcoming involuntary manslaughter trial, according to a U.S. report. The physician stands accused of administering the powerful dose of anesthetic Propofol which led to the King of Pop's death in June 2009. 

Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of involuntary manslaughter and is due to stand trial in May, and a document, obtained by TMZ, has revealed new details about proceedings. In the papers, more than 100 potential witnesses are listed, including the "Thriller" icon's three children 14-year-old Prince Michael, 13-year-old Paris, and 9-year-old Blanket. 

Other family members set to take the stand include Jackson's dad Joe, and siblings Jackie Jackson, Jermaine Jackson, La Toya Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Randy Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and Tito Jackson. 

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor is still searching for impartial jurors to hear the case, and the legal paper also reveals potential jurors face extensive quizzing of their opinions about Jackson, celebrities and medication before being appointed. 

Report: Chris Jericho Plays a Part in Pia Toscano's Hook-Up With Mark Ballas

There might be a romance blossoming for Pia Toscano. The "American Idol" contestant, who shockingly got the boot last Thursday, April 7, has gone on a date with "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer Mark Ballas, and according to TMZ, it was all thanks to wrestler Chris Jericho. 

Words are, 22-year-old Pia has a friend who is friends with Chris, who is competing on this season of "DWTS". After the aspiring singer gave her friend her phone number in a piece of paper, the friend passed it along to the 40-year-old wrestler who passed it onto 24-year-old Mark. It was further noted that Mark rescheduled a music video shoot for the date. 

Before Pia was eliminated from "Idol", she and Mark were rehearsing and shooting their shows next to each other at CBS Television City in Los Angeles. They were spotted going out together to Gulfstream restaurant last Friday night, April 8. 

When talking about her elimination during a conference call with reporters earlier that morning, Pia confessed, "It's funny because the night before I had a weird feeling in my stomach. And I said to my parents, 'You know, I kind of feel like I'm going to be in the bottom three tomorrow.' And they said, 'No, no, be confident. You're going to be fine. You're going to be fine.' And then when it happened, it was kind of like I expected it. It was weird."

Jennifer Lopez could be People Magazine's pick for its Most Beautiful Person this year. Gossip Cop has come up with the report that multiple sources confirmed the 41-year-old songstress, who serves as a judge on "American Idol", will grace the cover of the publication's "Most Beautiful" issue. 

On Friday morning, April 8, the "On the Floor" hitmaker gave a slight hint on the possibility in her tweet. She wrote, "Good Morning #LOVE?RS!!!!! Early Call Today for @peoplemag shoot! The weekend is here!! What are you guys doing?" While her rep has yet to comment on the rumor, Gossip Cop claimed that People Magazine will announce the cover star for the issue on April 13. 

In a recent interview, Jennifer discussed about battling insecure thoughts. "I know it's hard for women to tap into that feeling of self-worth. We need to get the message out that you are valued, you are a goddess and don't forget that," she told Bang Showbiz. "It's about stopping those thoughts of negativity and insecurity." 

The wife of singer Marc Anthony continued, "I think changing that and really recognizing yourself triggers control of how you feel, so you're able to go, 'No, I'm awesome, man, I'm amazing, there's nobody like me'. I think that's the big secret to body confidence."

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue is eyeing a move behind the camera, insisting she'd love to direct a film. The "Spinning Around" hitmaker shot to fame Down Under on long-running soap opera "Neighbours" and she admits she'd love to get back on a movie set - as the director. 

And the singer is adamant she would be a great filmmaker - because she's so "bossy". She says, "Professionally, I'd love to be behind the camera more. I think there's a director in me somewhere as I get older and bossier. I don't know how I ended up with a music career that has lasted that long when I thought I'd just be an actress."

Lindsay Lohan Denies Hiding From Father in the Closet

Contrary to swirling reports,Lindsay Lohan didn't hide in her closet when her father Michael paid her a surprise visit on Sunday, April 10. The troubled actress, who made her big break at the age of 11 with the remake of "The Parent Trap", has come forward to set the record straight. 

To E! News, the 24-year-old actress insisted that she wasn't even at her beach home apartment in Venice, California when Michael was reported desperately trying to get her to open the door. "I'm fine," she assured as explaining further, "I wasn't even home so its funny how I was in my closet." 

TMZ first reported that Lindsay was hiding in her apartment on Sunday out of fear. It was said that Michael was pounding on her front door trying to break in. When there was no response, he peered into several windows as he tried to spot her inside. Though he left before the police was called, Radar Online claimed that he returned later that day. 

Just days earlier, Linsday was forced to speak up to defend herself after Betty White branded her and such stars like Charlie Sheen "ungrateful". "I've always been a fan of hers. It's just a bit strange when people feel they must speak publicly about others. Especially a grown woman," so she told E! News in response.

It's no secret that Jennifer Aniston has been through her fair share of bad experiences in the relationship department (she's "not a big fan" of dating), so the actress is grateful for the group of really awesome friends who've helped her through them all.
