Miley Cyrus Says She Doesn't Hate Rebecca Black

After Miley Cyrus told Australian radio hosts that Rebecca Black's success was disappointing to her because she believed it should take more to become an artist than just recording a video and putting it on YouTube, Miley now says that she joins the likes Lady Gaga and Simon Cowell and recognizes the Friday singer's talent. When E! Online caught up with Miley at the Kids' Choice Awards and questioned her about her previous statement, Miley said, "I am a fan of Rebecca Black. I love Rebecca Black. I just got misquoted. I think she's great." And because that statement alone wasn't enough to convince us that she isn't the person who keeps writing that "Rebecca Black is a slut" in Friday's comments, Miley even admitted to performing Black's song, too: "I actually have this really embarrassing video that my sister has on her phone and I'm just waiting till the day that she puts it on YouTube. It's me driving, singing Rebecca Black and my hands are not always on the wheel while I'm singing the song. Not so good." So I guess while we wait for the day that little Noah Cyrus decides enough is enough and posts that video for all to see, let's all sit in silence and ponder the likelihood that someone can be misquoted during a radio interview. 

Miley Cyrus Back on Twitter and #Winning

Charlie Sheen might have drawn boos in Detroit, but he's getting nothing but love thrown his way from Miley Cyrus. The young pop star came off a 17-month Twitter hiatus to join the millions of Sheen followers - and she's not hiding her admiration for the #winning man one bit. 

"I'm not gonna lie," Cyrus tweeted on her new accountgypsyhearttour. "I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow Charlie Sheen." 

It took no time at all for Sheen, 45, to graciously accept the compliment and shoot one back Miley's way. He tweeted late Monday: "Dear Miley, Welcome back to Twitter! Always felt you were epic! Now you proved it!" 

Apparently, Sheen has been something of a mentor to Cyrus, who replied back: "You have taught me everything I know about WINNING. Duh!" 

We can only hope Cyrus might join Sheen onstage during his sold-out live tour, but for now, we're just happy she's back tweeting - and #winning - duh!

Miley Cyrus is Back on Twitter!

It's a beautiful day in the Twitter neighborhood: Miley Cyrus is back! The starlet took a year-and-a-half off from the social networking site, but now she's firing away -- and following Charlie Sheen!

The starlet posted as her first note: 'Do not fear...the Sheenius is here!' I'm not gonna lie. I came back to twitter for 2 reasons. My fans and to follow @charliesheen #winning."

Miley didn't resurrect her personal @mileycyrus page, but she did take over the feed for her upcoming Gypsy Heart Tour (@gypsyhearttour), turning it into her personal page with photos, notes, and tweets. So far, she's posted a pic of her dog Lila and wrote about eating dinner with her fam. Plus, she gave a shoutout to Jaden Smith!

"Let's take over the world together! Starting with Disney Land! PS I'm totes laying around eating chocolate watching Hancock," she posted.

Melbourne, Apr 4 – Singer Miley Cyrus is reportedly seeking legal advice after she came to know that a range of blow-up sex dolls, designed in her likeness, are being sold.
Cyrus, 18, was notified about the doll called ‘Finally Miley’ being sold by a company called Pipedream Products.
“We are completely sold out already. It’s been on the market for less than 48 hours,” the Daily Telegraph quoted Pipedream Products representative Kevin Johnson as telling the Sun.
“We haven’t received a cease and desist letter from her attorneys yet, but I have seen those rumours circling online,” he added, before noting that it was likely to happen at some point.

Taking a break from her good deeds to tend to her physical fitness regimen, Miley Cyrus was spotted arriving at her local gym in Toluca Lake, CA on Monday (March 14).

The "So Undercover" actress looked sporty in a black "Joan Jett and the Blackhearts" tank top, a black sports bra and grey sweats as she joined her mother, Tish, for the midday sweat session.

The week beginning workout comes just as it has been revealed that Miley's eBay charity auction is officially underway.

The former Disney darling is selling off a range of goods to the highest bidder with proceeds going directly to Get Ur Good On - which describes itself as "a social network that brings together children and youth to support each other in the mission to do 'good' in their communities."

Is a flirtation going on between Miley Cyrus and Kings of Leon's Jared Followill? Miley was first linked with the bass player at the afterparty for the MTV Europe Music Awards in Madrid last November, and they've reportedly been exchanging phone messages ever since.

A source told website HollywoodLife.com: “Miley wants to keep Jared interested. She often sends him coy text messages. So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending.

“Jared loves showing off his texts from Miley. He thinks she’s very pretty and is excited she’s still flirting with him.”

Miley, 18, had recently split with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth when she met Jared in Spain, but she did admit in 2009 she was a fan.

She said: “He's pretty good looking. I'm not usually one to freak, but me and Taylor Swift were like, 'Holy smoke!'

“Katy Perry was like, 'They have super hot girlfriends.' I was like, 'Dang it!' "

Jared was, at that time, engaged to model Alisa Torres, but they split later that year. Since then he has also been linked to Twilight actress Ashley Greene.

Both Miley and Jared, 24, also hail from the same town, Nashville.

'SNL': Miley Cyrus Did Justin Bieber, Lindsay Lohan and Fergie

Miley Cyrus did "pretty cool" as the host of "Saturday Night Live" on March 5. First in her opening monologue, she told the audience that "Hannah Montana" is the Disney Channel version of "Black Swan". And then she broke to a song "I'm Sorry I'm Not Perfect" where she crooned, "There's a photo of me dressed like a dude, and Annie Leibovitz tried to get me nude."

She continued addressing other controversies around her life, singing "[I] didn't make a dirty tape, and pass it along. Didn't text a dirty picture of [my] dong. Don't both of these things seem worse than a bong? I'm sorry I'm not perfect." Cast members Bobby Moynihan and Kristen Wiig stood by her during this section.

An expected skit was "The Miley Cyrus Show". Vanessa Bayer kept her character of Miley while the real Miley channeled her best Justin Bieber. One of the highlights in their conversation was the confession from Bayer's Miley about smoking Salvia. Miley as Justin said, "Well there's no reason that you wouldn't. Because it's totally legal, yo!"

Bayer later introduced a new 3D movie to compete with "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never", calling it "Always Say Always". Justin was not the only celebrity Miley spoofed for she also did Lindsay Lohan, and Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie.

She played herself in a skit called "Disney Channel Acting School". Supported by Kenan Thompson as Raven Symone, Miley took a jab at the network by making a joke at how the kid stars react to stinky feet and spy in a doorway.

Capping off quite the exciting night, Miley Cyrus was all smiles as she took to the SNL after-party in New York City on Saturday night (March 5).

The "Hannah Montana" hottie was fresh off of hosting efforts on "Saturday Night Live" as she made her way inside Asia de Cuba in Murray Hill for the long-running comedy sketch show's regular post-filming fete.

As for her hosting efforts, Miley partook in a number of pieces including the singing of a tune perfectly titled "Sorry, I'm Not Perfect".

Among the other Cyrus efforts on SNL, the 18-year-old spoofed fellow teen sensation Justin Bieber on "The Miley Cyrus Show" while also doing parodies about troubled "Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan and Blake Eyed Peas singer Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson.

Miley Cyrus' 'SNL' Promo With Kenan Thompson

Miley Cyrus hung out with Kenan Thompson in a recording studio to promote her hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, March 5. The guest-host played around with the recording panel, admitted that the gig is "pretty cool", made an impressive helicopter sound and messed around with Kenan's head.

Miley will become one of the youngest hosts in the history of "SNL". At 18 years old, she is listed among Drew Barrymore, Macaulay Culkin, Lindsay Lohan, Taylor Lautner and the Olsen Twins as the youngest hosts ever. Miley is expected to take part in a regular "SNL" sketch "The Miley Cyrus Show" which has Vanessa Bayer portraying the actress.

Although she is also a singer, Miley will not be pulling a double duty. The Strokes, who will soon release their fourth studio album called "Angles", would be the musical guest.

The “Hannah Montana” actress appears in a series of promotional videos with SNL cast member Kenan Thompson to hype up the gig.

And in one of the clips, Kenan asks Miley “Is this cool?” to which she replies, “Yeah, it’s cool.” Thompson follows up, “How cool?” and Miley takes the bait- “It’s PRETTY cool!”

Of course, they were playing on the spoof skit “The Miley Cyrus Show” that has become so popular this season. The Strokes will be the musical guest of the night.

According to People, Miley Cyrus currently feels very hurt and angry with her father Billy Ray Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus is said to be very upset because her old man keeps talking to the public about their family.

“Miley is upset, she’s very hurt and angry.” a source said.

Billy recently said he was “scared” for his Hannah Motanna star daughter’s well-being and “the damn show destroyed my family”. He also insisted he would “erase it all in a second if I could.”

Sources close to Miley Cyrus said at the time she was furious.

“To say Miley is angry is an understatement, she’s furious that her own flesh and blood would make a private matter so public. Who does he think he is, Michael Lohan?

“This isn’t what a father does. He never said a bad world about Hannah Montana all those years it made millions for the family, and now that Miley has turned 18 and is making her own decisions, he does this. Unforgivable.

“Miley has told him that if he wants to talk with her he has her number. It’s been the same number she always has had.”

Miley Cyrus’s drama with her father takes the covers of both Us Weekly and Star Magazine this week. We get an e-copy of Us Weekly as soon as it comes out, and last night I flipping through it when I stopped on the above layout. I mean… I love Us Weekly, and I think they’ve got good people working for them, but who gave the go ahead for this epic side-by-side? This is maybe the most inappropriate photo spread of Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray, and that’s really saying something.

Anyway, the article is mostly a recap of previous Rogue Mullet stories that we’ve already covered - go here for his GQ article, and here for some of the fallout and breakdown. There are a couple of good quotes from insiders though:

    A Disney source tells Us Weekly” “He totally pushed Miley Cyrus into being a star!”

    Another insider says Billy Ray is simply jealous of his daughter: “He was always upset he didn’t get as much attention as Miley Cyrus. This is his way of stealing the spotlight.”

    And yet other insiders claim that Billy Ray is just lashing out because he and Miley Cyrus were already on the outs. “Billy Ray already had a huge fight with Miley Cyrus over her behavior. She won’t talk to him anymore, so he sees no problem voicing his opinion to whomever will listen.”

    Before Miley Cyrus turned 18, Billy did little to rein in Miley Cyrus, and according to one source, he even used to tip off the paparazzi about Miley Cyrus’s whereabouts to ensure she’d get photographed.

Some more little pieces of information - Team Mullet says Tish lets Miley Cyrus do whatever she wants too, while Team Miley Cyrus says that Tish is the disciplinarian. Whatever. Even though I think this family is a train wreck, I also tend to want to give Miley Cyrus a break. Yeah, her image is way too sexed up and provocative and she shouldn’t be drinking or drugging… but Jesus, what were you doing when you were 18?

Despite what some may say, Miley Cyrus can now say she's an award-winning inspiration to youth everywhere.

The 18-year-old actress-and-singer was presented with the first-ever Global Action Youth Leadership Award for the positive impact she has on young people’s attitudes at a gala in Los Angeles on Friday, by her idol Hilary Duff.

Accepting the accolade, she said: "I got to tell you that I never thought I would get an award from Hilary Duff. This is like a dream come true to me. She inspired me.

"I want kids to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that's the right thing to do or what their parents want or what's important to people around them, but what's in their heart."

The Hannah Montana star recently admitted while she is happy to be seen as a role model for younger girls, she doesn’t want her fans to idolize her.

Miley Cyrus explained: "If you look at me as a role model, I agree with it. If you look at me as an idol, I don't agree. An idol for me is someone that you want to replicate. You want to be them. I don't wish that on anyone, to lose what they have personally, because that's when your spark goes."

An AOL poll named the singer/actress the Worst Celebrity Influence on the planet two years in a row. Over the weekend, however, Cyrus received the first ever Global Action Youth Leadership Award at a gala in Los Angeles.

Said Miley Cyrus on stage, after being handed the award by Hilary Duff:

"I want [kids] to do something they love. Not something that seems like a chore because someone tells them that's the right thing to do or what their parents want or what's important to people around them, but what's in their heart."

It's been a trying few days for Miley, as sources say she's angry at her father for bashing Hannah Montana and openly stating that Satan is attacking his family, as evidenced by his daughter's recent actions.

Miley Cyrus' Alleged Hacker Arrested

A hacker who allegedly accessed Miley Cyrus' email account has been arrested on suspicion of unrelated internet crimes after police seized and searched his computer. Josh Holly, 21, allegedly acknowledged he hacked into the singer/actress' MySpace page in late 2007, according to an affidavit - and then bragged online about obtaining semi-nude photos of Cyrus from her Gmail account. 

The information led police to seize his computer, and on Thursday, December 30, 2010 Holly was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee and charged with possession of unauthorised credit card account numbers, reports TMZ.com. 

He was released on Monday, January 3. Holly is not currently facing any charges relating to Cyrus.
