Phil and James Younghusband, new endorsers of Collezione-C2
Philippine Azkals' Phil and James Younghusband are now the newest brand ambassadors of the Filipino fashion brand Collezione-C2, the makers of the iconic My Pilipinas shirt designs. The British-Filipino brothers have been chosen to embody the talented Pinoys.
“Celebrating the uniqueness of the resilient Filipino and the gifts and skills he has to offer the country and the rest of the world is something that we are very passionate about," Collezione-C2 Managing Director Joey Qua said.
"We wholeheartedly welcome James and Phil to the team as we strive to continually express our shared vision for the talented Pinoy.” Qua added.
According to James, there were no second thoughts about endorsing the brand.
"We have something in common - a love for originality, creativity, Pinoy pride, and living out one’s passion.”
Phil added, "We also believe in Filipino artistry and the art of forward-thinking. These are things we both believe are relevant in this day and age for our country to stand out and make its mark in different areas of expertise.”

After the overwhelming success of its remake on Mara Clara, ABS-CBN will again bring back to our TV screens another well-loved teleserye hit in the past. The 1997-1999 drama series, Mula sa Puso which brought Claudine Barreto, Rico Yan and Diether Ocampo to superstardom, is now being taped and will be aired on the Kapamilya network soon.
So far the biggest break of her career, young actress Lauren Young will be the new Claudine in this remake and will be playing the role of Via. It will also be a wish-come-true for newcomers JM de Guzman and Enrique Gil because they have been chosen to portray the roles of Gabriel (originally played by Rico Yan) and Michael (Diether Ocampo's role), respectively.Also part of the cast are veteran actor Gabby Concepcion as Via's father Don Fernando, Eula Valdez as Selina and Dawn Zulueta as Via's Mom, Magdalena.Mula sa Puso 2011 will be directed by Wenn Deramas who also directed the original series.Here's the plot of the 1997 Mula Sa Puso courtesy of wikipedia:Via (Claudine Barretto), the only daughter of Don Fernando (Juan Rodrigo), is raised as his darling princess. On her eighteenth birthday she finds out that her father has promised her (hand in marriage) to her childhood friend Michael (Diether Ocampo), and before the birthday party is over, she gets kidnapped. She is rescued by a good samaritan named Gabriel (Rico Yan), whom she falls in love with. Michael at the latter part of the story became romantically involved with Via's best friend, Trina (Rica Peralejo). As the story unfolds, Via ends up having to decide between the two men in her life, while learning more about her mother Magda (Jaclyn Jose) and fighting off her evil aunt Selina, (Princess Punzalan), who is the sister of Don Fernando who wants to make all of them miserable before Selina's defeat.In the story, Selina was one of the most influential character, due to her greediness in power and wealth of Don Fernando ( Juan Rodrigo), her brother. She used people in order to manipulate them when a bombing in the departure of Via and her family to start a new life begins, Via lives a new identity but comes back to her family, and they all face Selina one last time in dignity.
Justin Bieber Asks Fans to Donate $17 for His 17th Birthday
Justin Bieber is appealing to his fans to donate money to charity to mark his 17th birthday on Tuesday, March 1. The "Baby " hitmaker is forgoing gifts from his devoted fanbase in a bid to raise cash for Charity: Water, a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations.
In a post on his fundraising page, he writes, "I have had an incredible year and it is all due to the fans helping me live my dream. So this year, I really want my birthday to be all about helping others. Instead of asking for gifts, I'm asking friends, family and fans to consider donating $17 for my 17th birthday to help make a change."
"Did you know that about 4,500 kids die each day from waterborne disease? By building clean water projects for villages that need them, we can prevent this! of all donations go directly to building clean water projects in developing countries with charity: water, and we'll be able to see photos and GPS of the projects we helped build! I want to make my birthday matter this year - let's make it so more kids can grow up to have a 17th birthday like me. Join me to make a change."
"I'm really so grateful for my family, friends and fans - and I believe we can do something big to help bring clean water to people in need. Even if you don't have $17 to give I just ask you to go out in your community and try and make a positive difference. Even the smallest act of kindness can go a long way."

Lindsay Lohan NOT Getting Naked in New Book
Lindsay Lohan may be struggling to get new job but she is not so desperate that she agrees to get naked in a new book. The actress has been forced to deny the rumor following Daily Mirror's report that she signed a deal worth $3.4 million to appear in the book that will include "full frontal nudity" and "graphic shots".
To Gossip Cop, the troubled actress says the story is "absurd," and confirms that she is indeed doing a book, "but it's not even close to a sex book." She does not share any detail about the book but affirms, "I'm fully clothed in it."
Previously, an insider claimed, "Lindsay is struggling to get another break in Hollywood. There's a stigma attached to working with her and she is determined to change this - starting with the photographic book." The insider went on mentioning that Terry Richardson will take the pictures and James Franco will be featured in the book as well. "Terry Richardson has persuaded Lindsay and James to get involved."
"He has assured them it will be provocative but tasteful. There will be a lot of nakedness - some of it graphic and suggestive - but it will be a real statement book," it was added on Daily Mirror. "Obviously there will be comparisons to Madonna's 1992 'Sex' book. But James and Lindsay believe theirs will be classier." Unlike Lindsay who quickly denies the story, James' camp has not responded to the report.

As a result, they must fake their death to move and live on a hidden Island along with other celebrities that have faked their death in the past."
Sources said she might play alongside Chris Zylka in the movie which is expected to start production in June. Chris' rep gushed, "Chris and Lindsay are excited about the new film they are starring in together and they do have a romantic role together on screen. Other hopes for the film are Helen Mirren and maybe even a role for Justin Bieber."
