Charlie Sheen Special "On The Brink" Announced By TLC

Sure to draw the viewers, Discovery's TLC Cable network has bought a fast-tracked "documentary" around fired "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen.

"Charlie Sheen: On the Brink" will be a one-hour special that will feature footage from NBC News' recent interview with Sheen, of which some footage was previously aired on the "Today" show.

TLC has promised to "Blend news footage with all-new original interviews" to explore "Sheen's erratic and unpredictable behavior from the perspective of the media who have covered him, and addiction and behavioral specialists."

The network also notes that the special will highlight other celebrity meltdowns which have captured public attention, while also offering insight into what drives bizarre behavior.
